Women’s Ministry Purpose:
“To develop prayer, Spirit-led women who, in submission to the Lord,
glorify God by providing for the spiritual and physical needs of their family,
church and community”
Welcome to the Cornerstone Women’s Ministry. Based on such Scriptures as Titus 2, 1 Timothy 3 and Proverbs 31, it is our deep desire to encourage you in your walk in becoming a woman of noble character and Christ-like attributes. We believe that takes place on both the personal and corporate levels as you reach out and spend time with other godly women pursuing the same goal. To that end, we offer a variety of ministries and activities where you can become involved and interact with other women in our CCBC family. From Bible Study to Ladies’ Night Out, we hope you’ll find a place where you can be nourished and prepared to then exercise your own God-given gifts.
We’re thankful God has led you to Cornerstone Community Bible Church and look forward to getting to know you better!!
Love in Christ,
Elvie Burckart

| Bible Studies by Demand - This summer, the Women’s Ministry is offering a DVD-based evening Bible study in the home of Mary Gianakos. Each lesson is a stand-alone study featuring various best-selling Bible teachers. The first one, “Believing God” by Beth Moore, will be presented on Wednesday, June 16, at 7:00 p.m., followed by a short discussion. Childcare will not be provided. If you plan to attend, you may sign up in the church lobby beginning Sunday, May 30. Please contact Elvie Burckart for more details. |

Ladies' Retreat 2010 - Our annual Spring Ladies’ Retreat is always a highlight of our year as we enjoy physical and spiritual rest and renewal through relevant Bible teaching, fun and fellowship. Watch the church bulletin for more details.

Service & Community Outreach - Our annual Baby Bottle Boomerang benefiting the Resource Pregnancy Center in Richmond is now in progress. To participate, simply pick up a baby bottle in the church lobby and bring it back filled with your donation. This is a wonderful opportunity to uphold the sanctity of life, and, since this is something even children can do, it provides a tangible way for them to learn that they, too, can have an impact for good in our community.
