• Resources for Fathers - Sign-up in the lobby for the Father’s Roundtable coming up on Saturday, May 10th, at 8:00 am at the church office. We will have an informal discussion of practical resources and advice for helping us grow into fathers who better reflect God’s character. Join us for encouragement, and fellowship whether you are a seasoned veteran or planning on becoming a father! Plus breakfast will be served!
  
  
• Child Dedication - On Mother’s Day, May 11th, we will have a child dedication in our worship service. At this time parents can publicly dedicate their children to the Lord. If you are interested in participating please contact Pastor Burckart.
  
  
• Ladies’ Night Out - Our next Ladies’ Night Out will be Tuesday, May 13th, at 6:30 pm at Cafe Adobe. Invite a friend and join us for a fun evening!
  
  
• Live the Life Sleepover Event - All high school students and friends are invited to meet at the church office this Friday, May 16th, at 6:00 pm for a sleepover event “The Battle for Purity”. After some group video sessions at the church office, the girls will go to the Mulcahy home, the guys to the Tanner home for more videos and sleep.
  
  
• Annual Business Meeting- Sunday, May 18th, immediately after the worship service, we will hold our annual business meeting to approve the church budget for the fiscal year. Information packets are available on the lobby table.
  
  
• “Dinner 6” Sign Up - Our Home Teams will take a summer break. In their place, our monthly “Dinner 6” groups will be forming soon. Please sign up for a “Dinner 6” group in the lobby or contact Greg Berry.
  
  
• Men’s Ministry Astros Night - Tickets are available for $13.00 in the lobby for a night at the ballpark, when the Astros take on the Chicago Cubs at 7:05 pm on Tuesday, May 20th. For more information contact Jeff Pawley.
  
  
• Annual Picnic / Baptism - We will be combining our Annual Church Picnic and Baptism on June 8th, at the Dailey home at 4:00 pm. If you are interested in being baptized, please indicate your interest on the communication card. If you are able to attend please look for the signup sheet in the lobby.
  
  
• Summer Camp - Space is limited so please see Bryan Glass today, to register for the Student Life Summer Camp on the campus of Louisiana State University. The dates are June 29th - July 3rd, and the cost is $240 per sponsored student.
  
  
• Ladies’ Bible Study - Our Ladie's Bible Study is taking a break for the Summer but will resume again this Fall. For more information contact Elvie Burckart.
  
  
• Men's Bible Study - The Men's Bible Study is taking a break for the Summe but will resume again this Fall. For more information, contact Pastor Burckart.
  
  
• Just for Starters - Would you like to receive personal instruction in the basics of the Christian faith? Then our six-week "Just for Starters" study may be just for you. If you'd like to be matched up with a personal mentor who will walk you through this material and answer your questions along the way, please contact Brent Burckart.
