Students
Ministry Overview:
The Student Ministry at Cornerstone Community Bible Church serves both junior high and high school students and their families. Our ministry vision is partnering with parents to see the lives of students changed through the truth of God’s Word and the love of God’s people.

Junior High Ministry
Our junior high ministry is called “T-Bone” as we are serious about leading students in grades 6th through 8th into the “meat” of God’s Word with the goal of transformed lives with student living in the center of God’s will focused on Jesus Christ.
For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is an infant. But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil. (Hebrews 5:13-14)
This ministry is lead by David Ross with oversight provided by Student Pastor, Bryan Glass.
High School Ministry
Our high school ministry is called “The Life” as we are serious about leading students in grades 9th through 12th into a daily transforming relationship with Jesus Christ, resulting in a life that is totally surrendered to Him.
“I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and delivered Himself up for me.” Galatians 2:20
This ministry is lead by Student Pastor, Bryan Glass. If you have any questions about the Student Ministry at Cornerstone, please contact Bryan Glass.
Ministry Core Values:
Our Student Ministry core values are driven by biblical principles and provide us with our direction and focus for all that we do within the Student Ministry. All of our ministry goals and programming flows from our core values.
Exalting Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the foundation of all that we do. He deserves to be exalted and glorified through the accurate proclamation of God's Word and within every aspect of a Christian's life and this ministry.
(I Corinthians 3:10-11, Acts 2:36, Romans 12:1)
Equipping Disciples
Spiritual growth should occur throughout the entire life of a Christian as they are conformed to the likeness of Christ and are adequately equipped for every g ood work for His Glory. (Romans 8:29, Philippians 1:6, II Timothy 3:16)
Encouraging Community
The Christian life is not meant to be lived in isolation but within a community of believers who can serve one another, encourage one another, and spur one another on to good deeds as we live in light of the Lord's return. (Hebrews 10:24-25, Galatians 5:13)
Evangelizing The Lost
We have been called to be witnesses for Christ in our own backyards to the ends of the earth proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world and serving our community. (Acts 1:8, Mark 16:15, Mark 10:45)
Engaging Parents
It is the primary and God ordained responsibility for parents to raise up and train their children in the ways of the Lord as the church supports them and partners with them in this noble task. (Deuteronomy 6:6-7, Ephesians 6:1-4)
Events:
“Engage” – Sunday Mornings from 9:15am till 10:15am
All junior high and high school students come together to “engage” with Jesus Christ through God centered worship and God’s Word. These weekly bible studies are structured to alternate between expositional (Old Testament and New Testament) and topically oriented teaching.
“Live the Life” – Wednesday nights from 7:00pm till 9:00pm
All high school students are invited to join us for fellowship, prayer time, and small group discussions on how to “Live the Life” that God has given them for His glory according to His Word. Small group discussion will focus on how students can apply the biblical truths learned during Sunday morning “Engage”. The goal of these meetings is to challenge and encourage disciples of Jesus Christ to not just be hearers of God’s Word but also doers (James 1:22). Occasionally we will also host discipleship equipping seminars (e.g. bible study methods and evangelism methods) and prayer and worship gatherings for students.
“T-Bone Refuel” – Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday night from 7:00pm till 9:00pm

Small group discussion will focus on how students can apply the biblical truths learned during Sunday morning “Engage”.
