Men’s Ministry EVENTS
Bible Study - Our men are currently working through Randy Alcorn’s biblical study of Heaven together. Study groups meet Thursday mornings at 6:00 a.m. at the International House of Pancakes in Sugar Land and Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the home of Reggie Shook. Retreats and campouts - About twice a year, our men get away for a couple of days to relax, to learn from God’s Word, and to enjoy the great outdoors together.
Fellowship events - Rockets games, Astros games, bowling nights... these are just a few of the things we do to get to know one other better and to introduce new friends to the Cornerstone family
Equipping seminars - Occasionally on Saturday mornings, we’ll get together over breakfast to discuss a topic of interest that will help equip us to be better fathers, husbands, and men.
Outreach dinners - At our outreach dinners, we gather over dinner to hear a well-known speaker share how God has made a difference in his life.
Service projects - Whether it’s rebuilding a home for those less fortunate or collecting and delivering Christmas toys to children whose parents are incarcerated, we look for ways to serve our community together as men.
